Immediate opening: bread baker (Oregon)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread baker in Clackamas County, Oregon. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Basic cake decorating and piping skills The role involves grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
