Now hiring: site carpenter (Benue State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site carpenter in Ado, Benue State. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Day to day you will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
