Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Middlesbrough, England. The job is in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
