Immediate opening: heavy equipment operator (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Hamilton County, Iowa. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. You should have: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing On a typical shift you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
