Join our team: we are hiring a commercial painter in Bond County, Illinois. The job is on a residential building site. The role involves: • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately Full-time with occasional weekends.
