Estate gardener • Eti Osa, Lagos State

We are recruiting: we are hiring an estate gardener in Eti Osa, Lagos State. You will be based at a plant nursery. You will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish 4+ years on the tools preferred.
