Banksman • Refugio County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Refugio County, Texas. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
