Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; give each garment a final press before packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing.
