Immediate opening: bench joiner (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bench joiner in Castro County, Texas. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. The role involves: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
