Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Reno County, Kansas. The job is at an auto components factory. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Your main tasks: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Six days a week, one day off.
