Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Sagbama, Bayelsa State. The job is at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Overtime paid at a premium rate.
