Urgent requirement: skimming plasterer (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Wright County, Iowa. You will work in an occupied house during renovation. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline On the job you will handle: • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
