Urgent requirement: we are hiring a chef de partie in Hawul, Borno State. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate You will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; prepare the mise en place before each service; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch.
