Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread baker in Halifax County, Virginia. You will work at a cake shop. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Day to day you will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch.
