Vacancy available: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Cherry County, Nebraska. You will work at a new-build housing development. Day to day you will patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
