Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Dawakin Tofa, Kano State. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists.
