Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On the job you will handle: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
