Head baker • Gangtok, Sikkim

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head baker in Gangtok, Sikkim. You will work in a bread factory. The role involves: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter You should bring familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens; basic cake decorating and piping skills; understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics.
