Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Starr County, Texas. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines.
