Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. You should bring at least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience; sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings. Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. ₹16,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
