Laundry presser • Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos State. You will be based at a garment factory. Your main tasks: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Six days a week, one day off.
