The role involves: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
