Hydraulic crane operator — Warwickshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Warwickshire, England. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Day-to-day duties: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Rotating shifts.
