Mobile crane operator — Apa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Apa, Benue State. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. You will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate Full-time with occasional weekends.
