Sheet metal press operator wanted in Wayne County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Wayne County, Georgia. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses You will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
