Cnc lathe setter wanted in Frederick County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Frederick County, Virginia. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Your main tasks: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
