Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Damban, Bauchi State. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
