We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Maigatari, Jigawa State. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
