Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Douglas County, Oregon. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits.
