Immediate opening: we are hiring a dogger in Haskell County, Kansas. You will work at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Full-time with occasional weekends. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
