Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Igbo-Eze-North, Enugu State. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Six days a week, one day off.
