Bricklayer — Nwangele

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Nwangele, Imo State. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks You will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser.
