Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Bama, Borno State. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 1+ years on the tools preferred.
