Landscape gardener — Jones County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Jones County, Texas. The job is in a residential garden complex. On the job you will handle: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
