Crawler dozer operator • Fune, Yobe State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Fune, Yobe State. You will be based at an open-cast mine. The role involves: • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Six days a week, one day off.
