Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Gwaram, Jigawa State. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. Your main tasks: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
