Milling machinist — Crook County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Crook County, Oregon. You will work in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
