D6/D8 dozer operator • Makoda, Kano State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Makoda, Kano State. The job is at an open-cast mine. You should have: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Day-to-day duties: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank ₦190,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
