Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Lane County, Oregon. On the job you will handle: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Full-time, day shift.
