Garden maintenance worker wanted in Fayette County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Fayette County, Kentucky. The job is at a plant nursery. Your main tasks: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
