Wet plasterer wanted in Greene County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Greene County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Your main tasks: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork Full-time, day shift.
