Gantry crane operator • Hunt County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Hunt County, Texas. The job is at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts The role involves: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Full-time with occasional weekends.
