Gas pipeline fitter — Ideato North

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Ideato North, Imo State. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read isometric and site drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
