Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. You will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. We are looking for own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools; able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently; NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
