Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Hernando County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Hernando County, Florida. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Day-to-day duties: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
