Earthmoving equipment operator • Mariga, Niger State

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Mariga, Niger State. The job is on a dam or embankment job. Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) 1+ years on the tools preferred.
