Port container crane operator • Bee County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Bee County, Texas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits On the job you will handle: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
