Immediate opening: TIG welder (Delta State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Burutu, Delta State. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
