VMC operator — Oldham County

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Oldham County, Texas. You will be based in a toolroom. The role involves: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $2,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
