Shuttering carpenter — Obi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Obi, Benue State. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. Day to day you will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Rotating shifts.
